Full Moon Rising
Taken during a camping trip to Lake Osoyoos. I used my Nikon Superzoom camera to capture the moon rise over the distant tree-filled hillside. I utilized my creative processing tools to make this final image.
Blending of two images a Balsam Root flower and a beautiful rock pattern found during hike up Chiwaukum Creek.
Port Townsend has a great marina to explore called Boat Haven. I was very attracted to the lovely smooth water and the reflected sky with the harbor boats. I felt the picture had a timeless look and made changes in the post processing to give it this look and to match the frame. The pano ratio of this image is 1.8 to 1.

Walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain requires one to wake early each morning to avoid the heat of the mid day. This panoramic image of the field and trees and early morning sunrise was a perfect image to apply some post processing techniques to bring out the true beauty of this morning sunrise. The pano ratio of this image is 3 to 1.

Endless Summer Bloom
Ancient Augustinian Nunnery
On the Isle of Iona in Scotland is the ruins of the most complete ruins of an medieval nunnery. After the Reformation, the priory was dissolved and reduced to rubble.
I was drawn to the way the light was filtered into these trees during our walk in Spain. I had tramp off trail through heavy brush to capture this image. I applied a number of filters in the Post Processing to get this final effect.
This image makes me happy. I captured a very interesting rock surface on Chiwaukum Creek hike and creatively processed to get to this final image.
The Spirit of the Trees Is Alive
Larch trees are special trees and seem to have a Spiritual quality to them.
Trees. They draw me to them. I love photography them. They are timeless in the stories they can tell. These trees are high up on a ridge that was wind blasted.
